not by train or bus or car,
we landed in a place called Dubai,
soon enough we were near to fly,
to the counrty named Scotland oh so green,
one of the most beautiful places we had ever seen.
Four nights we spent there and then we packed,
only one bag each with the thing it lacked,
was clothing and essential items only by chance,
no need to worry, next stop was France.
Sight seeing and public trasport was a must,
being late all the time broke the dad's trust.
Only two nights there we spent in a facny hotel,
the next day we flew to hear the ringing bell,
of BigBen in London for only one night,
Soho was amazing you should have seen the sight!
So many shops in so little time,
a day spent with an old best friend was more than a dime.
Back to Scotland for T IN THE PARK,
4 days of music and never in the dark.
The sun rises at 3, and sets at 11,
20 hours of sunlight is an absolute heaven,
Blocparty, Franzferdinad, and of course Pete,
Regina, crystal castles, and The Killers were a really nice treat,
Lilly Alan, JamieT and kings of leon too,
The Horrors didn't show so we felt a bit blue,
Nick Cave, Pasion Pit and Blur were all grand,
moshing is a hard job when all you do is stand.
This was the best two weeks of my life and that is no joke,

it will be close in my heart, you will always be there to hold my hand.
